Backflow Hit By Car Causes Underground Leak

Recently, a car accidentally hit a backflow preventer in front of an apartment complex in Lafayette causing a major underground water leak.

The water service for the apartment complex was shut down until we arrived.

We immediately dug up the water service line to the backflow preventer and made the repair.

We then turned the water service back on to the apartment complex and determined the repair was successful.

The tenants for the apartment complex were very satisfied.
