The condensate drain for this tankless water heater in the attic was installed by someone else without a drain pipe, causing water damage to this client’s ceiling in Broussard.
The dripping condensate, which is slightly acidic, started to make the drain pan rust badly.
We cleaned up the drain pan, gave it a new coat of Rustoleum paint, and ran a new copper drain pipe for the tankless condensate drain.
